skatinimas statusas T sritis švietimas apibrėžtis Auklėjimo metodas, kai stiprinama veiklos ir elgesio motyvacija. Ji stiprinama tenkinant dvasinius ir materialinius poreikius, norus, interesus, žadinant teigiamas emocijas, didinant socialinį prestižą. Tam naudojamos dvasinio-moralinio ir materialinio skatinimo priemonės: padėkos, garbės vardai, premijos, užmokesčio didinimas, dovanos ir t. t. Skatinimas – itin svarbus auklėjimo metodas. Kartais jis laikomas pagalbiniu. Iš tikrųjų yra svarbus dėl to, kad skaitant palaikomos vaiko pastangos kreipti savo veiklą auklėtojo norima linkme, kad vaikas pajustų socialinį pripažinimą, neabejotų savo veiksmų teisingumu – taip formuojasi socialiai reikšmingas požiūris į darbą ir tarpusavio santykius. atitikmenys: angl. stimulating vok.
